One of 46 leaves on light-brown paper. The text, written in black ink, is in 15 lines. Not all folios are illustrated but the illustration, where present, is on the left and is roughly square in shape. Part of a manuscript of the Kalpasutra consisting of 91 folios, numberedwith folio 3 missing and containing 38 illustrations.

The text is written in black ink in Prakrit, seven lines to the page between red and gold marginal rules and blue border decoration. India is quite rich in terms of oriental resources in the form of manuscripts, rare books, coins, edicts, "Shahi,farmans" and other materials.
